The Borough has received notification that we have been awarded a PennDOT Green Light Go Grant in the amount of $77,447.20. This grant will assist in funding the technology upgrades to the traffic signal at the intersection of S. Church St. and Fourth St. The upgrades consist of the installation of a stop bar radar detection system, Type 2 mounting control box, backplates with yellow retroreflective borders and an optical preemption system for emergency responders. This is a much needed upgrade to this intersection. The total cost of the project is estimated at $96,809.00. Project completion is estimated to be August 2025.
