Take time to stop and see the new monument at the entrance to Memorial Park. The monument honors servicemen from the Southern End killed in the nation’s wars after World War II. The project was spearheaded by the Quarryville Lions Club and was funded by the Lions Club, American Legion Post 603 and generous community support. The monument was delivered and set on May 26 and was dedicated on Memorial Day. The event was well attended.
